The 42nd Royal Highland Regiment Napoleonic re-enactment association started to exist in the first eighties.

A group of German napoleonic enthousiasts gathered to bring back to life one of the most colourful and famous units of that warring period : the Black Watch.

Few years later a similiar group was founded in Great Britain and in due time other units sprang out in Australia and in the United States.

This is the UK unit's site, and you'll find in it mainly informations about his organization and activities. Starting from here you can also visit the other unit's sites, which are listed in the link page.
